2010 Aleksander Reserve
Aleksander Reserve is crafted from a careful selection of barrels aged an additional six to twelve months in French and Serbian oak, enhancing the signature Aleksander style with greater complexity and depth. Each vintage is blended to highlight the finest expression of our estate’s terroir, and, in exceptional years, may include a small proportion of sousao grown on the property.
For the 2010 Aleksander Reserve, a Merlot-based blend aged 24 months in mostly new French oak, the wine spent an additional year in bottle before release to ensure perfect integration.
In the glass, it shows deep, saturated color and intense aromatics. The palate is lush and layered, with dark fruit, hints of tobacco, and a long, lingering finish of spice and earth. Aleksander Reserve is a wine to be savored slowly, with or without food, and stands confidently among the world’s finest luxury wines.
